We know parents, schools, and community partners may have questions about how Beyond the Game Impact works and what makes it different. Below are answers to the questions we hear most often about our assemblies, mentorship programs, and the Championship Mindset.
Our athletes don’t just speak—they connect. By sharing their scars and struggles, they create a safe space for students to open up about what they’re going through. Every assembly also includes “Heart Cards,” where students can voluntarily share how they’re feeling so schools can provide support when needed.
Yes. Sharing through Heart Cards is 100% voluntary, and athletes reassure students that if they write something alarming or concerning, the school’s faculty and staff will be alerted so the student gets the support they need as quickly as possible.
Schools, districts, and partners can reach us directly through our contact form or at flu@andreflu.com. We work with states, communities, and sponsors to make sure no student is left behind.
No. Everything we do is built on trust and choice. Students are encouraged to share only if they feel comfortable, and many find it empowering to express what they’ve been carrying silently.
Students consistently leave with more hope, confidence, and self-awareness. They gain practical tools—like meditation, affirmation, and visualization—that they can apply daily to strengthen their mental health and personal growth.
Parents can help by spreading the word, encouraging schools to host our assemblies, and modeling the same Championship Mindset we teach students—Mission, Vision, and Action.
