Stars Sharing Scars Is a special event where NFL players visit schools and businesses in local communities to talk about mental health — not just football.
Players share honest stories about:
Tough times they went through growing up
Times they felt anxious, sad, or alone
How they found strength and asked for help
Students learn that everyone struggles, even their heroes…
…And speaking up is a sign of courage.
During the event, students will:
Hear powerful stories from NFL athletes
Learn simple mental health tools they can use right away
Receive a special Super Bowl Edition autograph card
Have a chance to share concerns privately using our Heart Card™ system
We are currently in conversations with 30 schools that want to bring this experience to their students during Super Bowl week. Spots are filling fast.
This program builds: Confidence
Courage
Hope
Connection
Stars Sharing Scars: Super Bowl Edition shows students:
Your scars don’t define you — they show you are still fighting
A pro-athlete speaks to middle and high schools in your community.
We partner with 988 and other organizations to help fuel ongoing support.
Our athletes must pass a strict certification to ensure that they are qualified to present in front of your school.
Athlete-Led Assemblies on:
Athletes share their personal battles and reveal the mindset shifts that helped them push through the darkest moments.
Our speakers teach proven methods to manage overwhelming stress, balance expectations, and stay mentally strong in high-pressure environments.
We teach the difference between pushing through pain and healing through self-awareness—because being tough doesn’t mean suffering in silence.
Each assembly ends with students submitting voluntary reflections—giving us real-time insight into the emotional needs of your student body.
This allows students to have real connection and reveal the challenges many students are silently facing.
Heart cards are reviewed with school counselors and staff for red flags—allowing faculty to respond quickly to those in emotional distress.
Counselors and staff are able to see real data of what is going on in the hearts and minds of their students, and get them the appropriate help.

Reach out to us via the contact form on this site, and one of our teammates will reach out to you.
Assemblies are fun and energetic, while also giving students the tools to help them build the Championship Mindset. Our pro athletes have years of experience speaking with students on mental health challenges.
The "Heart Card" process is only read by the pro athlete and the faculty and staff of the school. It is totally optional for the students to fill out the cards, and we explain to the students that we will do everything in our power; including informing the faculty and staff, when we see a "flagged" card. A "flagged" card is one when a student tells us they are dealing with anything that could cause danger to themselves or others.
For public schools with limited resources, the program can be brought to your campus at no cost.
We partner with local businesses and community sponsors who cover the full outreach costs.
Our athlete vetting process is extremely stringent. Just because one is a pro athlete does not qualify them as being able to speak in front of students. Our athletes are world-class trained speakers on the topics of mental health awareness and the Championship Mindset.
